When i studied for my CWNA and CWDP certification I used the official cert guides and listen to a lot of podcasts from the awesome guys at (Clear To Send and WiFi Ninjas).
Last 1-2 month i been studying for the CWSP-exam and manage to read the official cert guide once. This time i had some problems with my motivation so i actually booked an 4 days training from CWNP. I am happy to be at a company who value education high and pay for things like that. Trainer for the course was Martin Ericsson CWNE#148 and i attended 1 day onsite and 3 days remote. The training was good but most of all i got the motivation needed to continue my selfstudy. It’s always inspiring to hear other people talk about a topic you like but knows a lot more of it. Even if i liked the training i was a bit disappointed about the slides provided from CWNP, a lot of them was almost 10 years old and that is something u don’t want to see when paying 2000$.
I just did a practice exam from CWNP with an 88 % score but had some correct questions i guessed on. Think I will spend the week with some repeating on weak topics and then book an exam. Hopefully that will be enough to make me an Wireless Network Security Professional.
